Farewell Tucker

Earlier this week, I found out some bad news.

I mentioned before my affinity for Tucker Carlson's show. I discovered it after accidentally seeing an old friend, the lovely A.B. Stoddard, as a regular on his show.

Well, now his show has been canceled. Worse yet, his slot is being filled by David Gregory.

During all the hours I've spent watching his show, I was treated to one of his best moments during a discussion about Eliot Spitzer's hypocritical, disgraceful "predicament". You gotta see this:

Video courtesy of MSNBC

In case you missed the good part, here it is again:

Video courtesy of MSNBC

LMAO! Tucker always tells it like it is.

Does Tucker know something we don't? Maybe some of the folks over at the NYT have been moonlighting for Spitzer's call girl ring, and he's not just their pimp but also a client.

For the humorless "progressives" that might be reading this, the above statement was sarcasm.

Fare thee well Tucker. I wish you luck, and I believe you'll find a place better suited for your talents than MSNBC.

PS: Tucker's last show will be tomorrow. Tune in or Tivo; I expect it to be a good one!

Inherent Racism

Did you see Chris Cuomo's interview with Barack Obama on Good Morning America this past December? Here is a short clip:

Video courtesy of Good Morning America

After the February primaries, I read an article in the local paper about the primary results. According to state and national exit polls, the Obama voter is more likely than the Clinton voter to be white, affluent and well-educated.

Huh? What about America's inherent racism?

Oh wait, this must be what he's referring to:

Video courtesy of The Times-Picayune

Giving Props

I gotta call 'em like I see 'em.

Keith Olbermann has got to be one of the most caustic pundits in the politosphere. Personally, I think he's a revolting specimen of the media dregs, but that's just my opinion. However, we must remember that often it's the message, not the messenger that needs to be heard.

Last week, soft-baller extraordinaire Matt Lauer hosted an interview with Senator Larry Craig. Of course, the topic of his airport bathroom shenanigans was at the forefront. I don't think some of the answers he gave were very honest:

Video courtesy of MSNBC

I did a little looking, and I have to admit that Überdouche's facts do pan out:

Senator Craig is a member of the Congressional Internet Caucus. He did write an op-ed with a reference to Google searches. He did co-sponsor Senate Resolution 205. Finally, iKeepSafe did honor Craig with the 2007 award.

I find it very difficult to believe Senator Craig's claims of not using the Internet after all that.

It pains me to say it, but chalk one up for Keith Überdouche.
